Two city workers, Natalie and Joe, are waiting by a huge, ancient tree. The equipment they need to cut it down is stuck in traffic across town. They start killing time with small talk… things progress into romance, politics, personal tragedies, and eventually, an unthinkable act, as this ancient tree leaks mythology into our everyday world. A simple conversation transforms into a powerful theatrical event.
