Biographies:
Siobhan Cooney is stoked to perform at IGNITE Festival 2017 as part of the improv series. On the verge of graduating from the University of Calgary with a BFA in Drama, she is excited to create and share stories through performance art. As Artistic Director of Sunday Boys, Siobhan has stepped up to the plate with a loyal crew of zainy individuals, and they are ready to show you what they’ve got!
Ellie Stewart is currently studying communications and media at the U of C. She wishes she could dance, but instead she improvises! She is excited to share the stage with an amazing variety of emerging artists, and is thrilled to be performing with Sunday Boys for the festival!
Liam Whitley is a new improviser and is extremely excited to debut his skills at the Ignite Festival. He currently studies at the University of Calgary majoring in Drama. Liam is an all around swell guy and loves to talk. He has a vast array of stories and love to tell them. He hope you’ll get a chance to step inside his cranial roller coaster and enjoy the ride.
Logan Teske is ecstatic to have been given an opportunity to perform alongside his fellow improvisers in this year’s IGNITE festival. He is an active member in the Calgary improv scene doing performances with The Kinkonauts, Notorious, Obviously Improv and the UofC improv club. He is pursuing a BFA in Drama from the University of Calgary and is looking forward to what the future brings!
Jocelyn Spielman is an actor/improviser/mischief-maker who wants to be a mortician when/if she grows up. She admires cats and digs tattoos.
Jocelyn Spielman is a cat-loving, improv-addicted, van-enthusiast who is sooooo close to finishing her Drama Degree at U of C. She enjoys long walks on the beach, and contemplating mortality. She is super excited to be involved in the Ignite Festival, and make her debut as a Sunday Boy.
Sam Lindsay is an aspiring film maker in Calgary. When he isn’t on set or serving coffee is loves to tell jokes to dogs. If he can’t make it in the film industry, his next best goal is to be a dog whisperer comedian. He’s very excited to be apart of the IGNITE festival and to performing with the SUNDAY BOYS!
Brandon Huszti is a recent graduate of the BFA program at UofC and is continuing to grow and learn as an improviser, actor, and performer through Ignite! Improvisation has shown Brandon how to be positive and take life as it comes. Especially now that he is living in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park… and commuting two hours to get down to Calgary… Wow! What a committed guy.
