Soliciting Temptation, a Sage Theatre joint production with Edmonton’s Shadow Theatre (March 9 to 26. 2017), opens with a provocative hotel room encounter between a middle-aged white man and an exotic young, possibly too young, woman. What starts as a rendezvous quickly flips as the woman reveals that she’s there to trap him as a sex tourist and predator, telling his job and his family. Her own background comes into play as the power shifts back and forth between these two intricate characters.
